Apart, from that, one can see the sun rising from the snow-covered mountains and also you can see the glimpse of Sinolchu,Narsigh and Pandim peaks.
How to reach and what one can do & see:
The nearest railway station is new Jalpaiguri, from there one can hire a car and that will take you to Borong via Ravangla. You can also Borong by bus. At first, you head to Jorthang or Singtam from Siliguri Bus and then head towards Borong. Trekking is one of the options you can go for or you can go for Bird-Sighting as Borong is home to many different kinds of birds like Black magpie and Scarlet minivet. As the whole year is suitable for visiting Borong but in case if you want to see the Rangeet River festival, then you have to visit in the month of February.
