NE based Film III Smoking Barrels is all set to be screened in Germany

Local NEWS: Sanjib Dey’s debut feature Film “III Smoking Barrels” is all set to be screened at the 66^th International Film Festival Mannheim, Heidelberg, Germany on November 12.

Earlier, the film was successfully screened at the 38^th Durban International Film Festival, South Africa.

The Film (III Smoking Barrels) story revolved around three different stories.The film is exclusively from North East India.

The first story is about a child involved in armed conflicts.

The second story is about a boy and his journey into the drug peddling world.

The third story is about a man an elephant poacher.

All the stories in the film are based on true events.Writer/Director

Sanjib Dey spent over 2 years in filming III Smoking Barrels.The Film shooting was done in different beautiful places of the North East India. The Film was produced by Amit Malpani.
