Modiji's visit in Kokrajhar

Local NEWS: In Tuesday more than 1 lakh people came to see Modiji in the Bodofa Nwgwr,it was first ever visited of the Prime Minister in this Bodoland area. Rally was attended by BJP two of the top leaders ‘Sonowal’ and ‘Himanta’ and BPF leaders including Hagrama (Chief) and Deputy Chief and other leaders. Before Modi gave the speech he was entertained by Bardwi Shikwla Dance, a kind of Bodo Dance.Modiji gave a speech in Bodo to the thousand of thousand people who came to see him.

"In the BPF memorandum prepared for Modi, the party would also seek direct funding of all central schemes bypassing the state in future, transfer of home department from state to the autonomous council and inclusion of Bodo inhabitants of Karbi Anglong district in the ST (hills) list." ---- (Times of India)
