Special Coverage:We have seen tragedies may be personally or maybe indirectly— could tragedies only belong to rich not to poor? This may sound absurd – ‘Coz poor people to have LIFE and they too have soul’. I personally loved donating money poor people. When I heard a group call ‘Karishma Group’ who shall be raising a fund for the Anil who has been begging for last 40 years ‘I had no idea how it was to be like’. It gives immense joy for the person who we are in needed of money.
Anil Basumatary age 60 present address Basugaou Boijora.Anil lost his vision during child with the infection of conjunctivitis first left eye and then right too got infected abounded by family basically he belongs from Darrrang, begging from a different place, at last, he met a lady who too was blind at train they both fall in love and married. His wife belongs from Bengali cast and she begs at Fakiragram station and Anil begs at Kokrajhar railway.
Earlier ‘Karishma Group’ has raise fund for Karishma Goyary by the name "Don’t let A Karishma Goyary’s smile fade away" there on they were being called ‘Karishma Group’ Karishma’s and her leg operation was done successfully and now she is in well and healthy. ‘Karishma Group’ is not a NGO but a group of youths belong from Kokrajhar,BTAD (Assam) who are helping the needed people who are great need of money. The Group is led by Morin Daimary who again took an initiative to make a difference and changed the life of Anil was being ignored by peoples since few decades
(Anil and his wife who were part of the campaign)
“ My personal experience is that I have been seeing Anil basumatary begging from since I was a kid.Few days back I guess day it was after Valentine ’s Day I saw one person throwing a coin at his begging bowl and that coin bounced back and felt on the ground he was touching the ground and searching for that coin. That scene pierced my heart that day only I have decided to make something big for him”— said by Morin Daimary
[We thank Morin for providing information of their works and we must say he is doing great work, we hope he continues doing that]
