“Every dog has a day”---English proverb
Special Coverage: Maybe, this time, this day has arrived as the saying above goes. Here, we look into three dogs that I call “Every dog has a day”
1) Laika (dog) became the first living being to orbit the earth on Sputnik-2 on Nov 3, 1957, in Space. She died several hours into the flight from stress and heat.
2) Zeus, the tallest dog in the world. The Guinness Book of world Records has recorded it, 7ft 4 inches legs. The three-year-old Zeus belongs to the owner Kevin Doorlag from Michigan and weights around 70 kg.
3) The power of Money! Big splash the red Tibetan mastiff became the world most expensive dog when the owner of this dog paid $1.5 million for him. Now, this breed of dogs has become popular among the rich people in China.
