Washing Machine (Evolution)


Bodoland G.K: Washing clothes with the hand is painstaking work especially when the clothes quantity is many. As we all know it, nowadays as washing available in Market. Before the invention  of first home washing the machine in 1858 by Hamilton Smith of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.Washing clothes were done in  a galvanised tub.Clothes were put  in it and then it is rubbed on a corrugated washboard to force out the water and dirt out from it. After that, it goes through a wringer to squeeze out the excess water and was hung out on a leave to dry outside. 
  
Hamiton Smith (Washing Machine) that it was not successful as it respected as it was respected that it would work out as perfect. The reason for it unsuccessful was it tangled with each other and it got torn.

By 1907pratical washing machine was developed that operated by a motor. By the time, when fully automatic washing Machine first appeared in 1937.It got more upgraded with water holding the capacity of thirty-five to forty-five gallons of water per wash. Several fins were added that moved the wash go up and down from side to side.
