World’s oldest wine found in Georgia that dates back to 8,000 years

World NEWS: Scientists has found an evidence of the world’s earliest winemaking in Georgia.It’s origin date back to Neolithic period around 600 BC.(Georgia is home to over 500 varieties of wine alone)

Pottery fragments of ceramic jars recovered from the site were analyzed to ascertain the nature of residue preserved inside.


The earliest known evidence of wine dated back to 5400 -500 BC from an area in Zagros Mountain of Iran.
