Sports: Ms. Thunalai Narzary who is hailing from
Dotma, Kokrajhar has won Gold Medal in Shot Put in recently held International
Athletics Championship Kyrgyzstan.
Thunlai Narzary is the First International player from athlete to win a Gold medal from Sports Authority of India (Kokrajhar). Prior to this, she
had won the bronze medal at 2nd south Asian Junior Athletic Championship 2013
held at Ranchi (Jharkhand) from 10th to 12th November 2013 (Under 20 Girls).
Thunlai is a daughter of Sri Someswar Narzary is hailing from
Gelaguri village of Dotma. She is a promising athlete in the country who was
spotted and trained by SAI, SAG Centre, Kokrajhar. She is a trained Shot Put
(athlete) she has many numbers of medals in her name.
