1. Dumas Beach : Dumas Beach is an urban beach along the Arabian Sea, located 21 kilometres (13 mi) southwest of the City of Surat in the Indian state of Gujarat. It is a popular tourist destination in South Gujarat. Dumas Beach is unjustly infamous for being in the top 35 haunted spots in India.

Haunting & Beliefs :

Being located along the Arabian Sea, Dumas Beach is considered one of the most haunted places in Gujarat. The beach is renowned for known for two things, one for its black sand and other for being haunted! It is said in the Folklore that Dumas Beach was once used as a Hindu burial ground and hence it is possessed by several haunting spirits that never left the region. It has been explained in  the Folklore that there is a existence of black sand and it was created by a amount of ashes created by burning the dead which got mixed with white sand of the beach and turned dark in shade.


2. Barog Tunnel(Tunnel No. 33) : Which  is  named after a British Railway Engineer who lived during 19th century (Colonel Barog was the man after whom the Barog tunnel and station on Kalka Shimla Railway is named).   The Tunnel No.33 is considered to be haunted because of its haunted past and its story ring to this day. The place is situated in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh,and the place is situated at a height of 5,12o ft and Tunnel is 1144 meters.

Haunting & Belief :

Colonel Barog was given the tasks to construct the Barog Tunnel. To speed up the process of creating the tunnel he ordered  the workers to dug up from both sides. No matter, how much they tried  to dig to make both ends meet. It always failed ! both the ends won't meet.

Later, he was imposed fined of 1 Rs by the British Government by misusing government property. This made him depressed, and commit suicide. The tunnel 33 ( is a longest route on Kalka Shimla Rail) is still haunted by a Colonel Barog ghost  many people still  has claimed to have seen his ghost.


3. Dow Hill of Kurseong :  Place is situated 30 kilometers from Darjeeling and it is considered to be most haunted places of India. Tiny Hill, Orchid gardens and a forested areas with tea plantations. Which makes it ideal for nature lovers.

 Haunting & Belief :

There is stretch of road between Dow Hill Road and the Forest office. And this the place where, the paranormal activities are reported. Many visitors has claimed to have seen a headless boy, some has even claimed to have been followed. Losing metal and committing suicide been in this place has been reported.
