Bodoland G.K: The Place is Madhya Pradesh where 1.6 billion-year old fossils of red algae were found by researchers from the Swedish Museum of Natural History.
It is believed to be the oldest evidence of plant-like found on the earth. The oldest known red algae before this discovery are 1.2 billion years old.
