The Origin of Siva WORD

Religion: The Origin of Siva, Siba ,Sibrai ,Bathoubrai : Siva is the paramount god of modern Hindu gods. The word Siva has its root in the Indo-Mongoloid Bodo race, not in the Veda.

In Bodo mythology he is known as Sibrai or Bathoubrai. "Si" means Gyan or knowledge and "Ba" means five, i.e. Siva:  Si+Ba = Siba,Sibrai, Bathoubrai. That means the God who has knowledge of five elements of life, viz. earth, fire, water, air and sky, the creator of life or supreme God in the world. Siva had the knowledge of five elements of life so he is emagined to have five faces and known as "Panchanan."
