World NEWS: Researchers from the University of Tokyo, Japan have claimed that they have discovered a glass that can heal cracks by its own, without heating it.

‘Polyetherthioreas’ qlasses were discovered accidently by an undergraduate name Yu Yanagisawa, who accidentally chanced upon the self-repairing capacity material. While trying to prepare glue with the polymer, it was discovered when the surface of the polymer was cut, the edges would adhere to each other, leading to the healing to form a strong sheet after being manually compressed for 30 seconds at 21°C.

With this new discovery, we can hope that in near future any cracks on glasses will be healed instantly.
