SD: Meditation - It is a ancient technique, that has been practiced since 1500 BCE antiquity in numerous religious, often as part of the path towards enlightenment  and self-realization. The earliest records of meditation  (Phyana) come from the Hindu traditions of vedantism, and meditation has along tradition of being a practice in Hinduism.

Since the 19th centaury, Asian meditation technique have spread to other cultures and also to other parts of the world.

Benefit of Meditation :

What research suggest about meditation :

a) In a study on 1,300 adults meditation demonstrated that it has decreases stress.

b) Over three years,18 volunteers were asked to practiced meditation. After, three  years. It was found that participants experienced long-term decreases in depression scales and as well in anxiety scales.

Types of meditation :

a)Guided Meditation: It is a type of meditation, where a narrator or teacher guide you to image or to visualise.What they are saying?

b) Mantra Meditation : In this, type of meditation, people or the practitioner  repeat certain words or the syllable or phrase over again and again.

c) Mindful Meditation: In this, types of meditation, all you have to do is sit down and let go all the negative thoughts or light up a candle and focus on it.
