Local NEWS: The Bodo Sahitya Sabha (BSS) has
urged Krishna Kanta Handique State Open
University to introduce Bodo Subject in MA course.
BSS general secretary
Kamala Kanta Mushahary said that
the BSS had written a letter to the Vice-Chancellor of the Krishna Kanta
Handique State Open University requesting to open MA Department in Bodo. Mushahary
also said that the BSS would approach the authority of Dibrugarh
University,Assam University,North Bengal University,Delhi University and also
other Universities in India to Start MA in Bodo subject where a good number of
Bodo Students were pursuing their higher education. This was said in the press
release.
