Local Rapper and International Rapper (In one song)

Music: This is for the first time in a proposed Bodoland. A young rapper group who are known as ‘Chopper Blades’ is collaborating with Crystal Childs a female rapper of ‘Microphone Mafia’ a rapper group from America .This is a good news for a local musician pushing themselves beyond their own boundaries to be heard by the world. ‘Chopper Blades’ was formed way back in 2015 along with Jim Bekelin and Benjlai Daimary they are from Udalguri ,Bodoland(Ind).They have produced 4 songs so far ‘Bodoland’ ‘Bounce it’ & ‘Swag ft Nwjwr the Band’ to name a few. When asked about the Collaboration to the Jim one of the rapper of Chopper Blades : Here is what he had to say

“ I see Bodoland is rich in music and a lot of talented artists have been bringing western music as a culture. Since our band, Chopper Blades is highly influenced by the African-American Music so I got a thought of making collaboration with the American Hip-hop artists put more flavor in our Music and make it sound more International to let the people feel the Real taste of Hip-hop Music.”

“Since the Internet has made it easier to get connected with Musicians from different countries through Social Networking sites so we started connecting and following with many Hip-hop artists and came to a conclusion of Collaborating with them and take our Music to a Higher level.” as told to The Bodo Tribe 18 magazine
