I talk to Hadwt Baglari one of the member of the band to know more about them.
Hi, Nwjwr How you guys doing?
Hadwt Baglari : Sir we are doing great, currently we are on a short break from projects because we had to resume back our classes as you know all of our members are sophomores.
Hadwt Baglari : Sir we are doing great, currently we are on a short break from projects because we had to resume back our classes as you know all of our members are sophomores.
Tell us how it all start?
Hadwt Baglari : Well, it was back in the midst of April 2013, when we all guys were at school. As we had a keen interest towards music ,some of our members were crazy about making tracks in a software called ‘FL STUDIO’ which have been widely used by many musicians and they loved playing guitar. As an avid music listener and observer, we were fascinated and inspired by many bands of various genres. So, this gave us a thought of forming a band and later we finished our band line up and launched it in the last week of July with our debut song ‘Manwthw’. And last but not the least we thought a lot about the name of the band and in the end, we ended up with NWJWR. And yes, it’s Nwjwr since we started.
You guys have been producing ‘Single’ ever since from the formation of the band? Why is it, please tell us about that ?and when we can hope for a full-length album?
Hadwt Baglari :Recording a song involves a lot of money and also time. Coming from the middle-class families, it’s hard for us to keep on asking bucks from our parents, so we collect some amount of money among us that were given to us as pocket money and then contribute for recordings. This is the main reason behind why we are producing singles since the formation. And talking about the full- length album it will be only possible for us if some of the sponsors would really like to come up and help us OR you guys can expect from the full-length album only when we can come up with our own studio.
‘Rest of my life’ is your official video. You guys said it is a home made video all done by your band inmates.Does this video meet you guys expectation from your fans? The response you guys wish for.
Hadwt Baglari :Yes, ‘Rest of my life’ is our official home music video which was recorded at Lwihwr Studio, Udalguri and filmed and edited by Nwjwr member itself. The video met our expectation we hope the fans too had the same

impression because we have received very supportive positive and as well as negative comments from the people. As it is our debut home music video which has been made by the members itself, though not professionally we are satisfied with what we had done because we didn’t hire any professional guys for the shoot and editing stuffs. Well it was just a trial for us, as a rookie we might have done some mistakes but we will do much better in our next music video. And thanks a lot to the viewers who had watched it and liked the video and please keep supporting.
What you think about of the Music scene of Bodoland?
Hadwt Baglari :Saying the truth the music scenario in Bodoland is not quite impressive. I mean to say that there is a huge number of bands in Bodoland with various genres which are not being promoted or sponsored by the advertisers or the local show organizers. The promoters need to work a bit harder and a bit differently to give the bands what they deserve. And the funds that come to the event manager ministers for the registered bands are not being distributed. And in many regions of Bodoland, there are hardly professionally equipped studios where recording is a great deal for a band. Bodoland has a huge number of bands and though it may seem easier to form a band the truth is that most of the bands find harder to maintain and thrive themselves. They have got their career issues, family problems, and personal lives. The scene here also doesn’t offer the musicians enough to help them continue with their work by giving them proper promotion and recognition and for surviving, the band has to go through a lot of hard times. This is some of the issues that a band has to go through but in spite of many hurdles we are quite impressed by the youths of now, their spirit and enthusiasm to form a band to display their talents and represent the culture of our people through music. We have been observing the music scene and have been listening to various bands and we are lucky to be part of the scene where there are so many awesome musicians.
‘Da Neosi’ is one of all time favorite song from your band of mine.My neighbour plays this song I often hear it.What’s the core meaning behind the song? Please tell us?
Hadwt Baglari :We have received a lot of compliments for the song ‘Da Neosi’ from our lovebird listeners. Well, Thanks a lot to our listeners for making it as your favorite?. The song is about a lover who is deeply in love with a lass but she ignores him, but the guy still waits for her to be his eternal beloved. Actually, the song has an endless sad and romantic mixed feelings of our lyricist which have been revealed through the song….well I guess, we have to ask him the core meaning and with what intention, he had written the lyrics that’s all what we can say about this song.
